Pastor Otis Williams was saved, filled with the Holy Ghost, and called into the ministry at a young age. He attended the C.H. Mason Bible Institute during 1999 - 2001 and again in 2006 - 2007. Pastor Williams was ordained a deacon on January 3, 1998 and received his minister license on February 12, 2006. A year later on June 28, 2007, Pastor Williams became an ordained elder and was appointed Pastor of Gospel Pentecostal Center on September 12, 2007. He currently serves as the District Treasurer of the A. B. McEwen / R.C. Edwards Memorial District in 1st Jurisdiction Illinois.
Pastor Williams is a true product of Chicago! He was born and raised in this Windy City. As a child, he attended Chicago Public Schools - Oglesby Elementary and Lindblom Technical High School. His advanced degrees are from Roosevelt University with a Bachelor's in Business, a concentration in Accounting, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Finance. He has worked in Corporate America for more than 20 years. Pastor Otis Williams is a pillar of integrity, honesty, and loyalty to his congregation and community. Lady A. Williams is saved, sanctified, and filled with the precious Holy Ghost. At Gospel Pentecostal Center, she serves as a Board Member, Special Events Coordinator, and assists wherever she is needed. Lady A. Williams supports the Minister Wives Alliance at both the district and state levels. Her goal is to continue to be a witness for the Lord to the young people, especially young women, everywhere.
Lady A. Williams received her elementary and high school education in Chicago Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish and a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Literacy from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Sis. Williams studied abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico. She completed her Type 75 Administration Certificate and later became a National Board Certified Teacher. Sis. Williams worked for the Chicago Public Schools for 18 years. She has held the positions of classroom teacher, curriculum coordinator, gifted coordinator, and literacy coach. In 2017, she received a Ph.D. in Policy Studies in Urban Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago and later started an education consulting business.
Pastor and Sis. Williams have been married for more than 20 years. They have two wonderful children.
